Bone grafting is the key to making dental implants possible for everyone. If your jawbone has thinned over time, we use specialized grafting materials to restore its strength and volume. This ensures your future implants have a rock-solid foundation, resulting in a smile that is both beautiful and functional for a lifetime.
Timeline: 2 days. Using advanced 3D CBCT imaging, we accurately assess the remaining bone's dimensions (height and width). This pre-planning allows us to select the ideal grafting material and determine whether the procedure can be combined with implant placement or not.
Timeline: Day of Surgery (45–90 minutes depending on the area). The bone graft material is placed in the targeted site and protected with a specialized bio-membrane. We follow strict protocols to preserve soft tissue and ensure maximum patient comfort during and after the procedure.
Timeline: 10 to 14 Days Post-Op. We monitor the healing of the soft tissue (gums) over the grafted area. During this visit, we ensure the surgical site is stable and remove any sutures if necessary.
Timeline: 4 to 6 Months (may vary based on the graft type and individual healing). Your body develops new blood vessels and bone cells within the graft. This period is essential to ensure the new bone can withstand the mechanical forces of chewing in the future.
Timeline: After successful integration. We perform a final assessment to confirm the graft has become a solid, integral part of your jaw. Once stability is verified, we proceed with the dental implant placement in a secure and safe environment.
